Aubreigh Kitzmiller, the 2025 Geauga County Franklin B. Walter Award winner from Cardinal Local Schools, proudly represents her county at the Franklin B. Walter Award Luncheon held on April 14, 2025.

Geauga County Student Honored with Prestigious Franklin B. Walter Award

We are proud to recognize Aubreigh Kitzmiller, a standout senior from Cardinal Local Schools, as the 2025 Geauga County recipient of the esteemed Franklin B. Walter Award.

Aubreigh was honored at the Franklin B. Walter Award Luncheon on April 14, 2025, in Columbus. There, she joined top students from across Ohio to celebrate academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.

As part of this special recognition, Aubreigh will also be honored at an upcoming ESCWR Governing Board Meeting on either May 15 or June 3, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. She will be recognized as one of Ohio's best and brightest students, have the opportunity to meet the ESCWR Governing Board, and be presented with an award check for $250.00.

The Franklin B. Walter Award is presented annually by Ohio’s Educational Service Centers to one exceptional student from each county. Aubreigh’s achievements, dedication, and character exemplify the spirit of this recognition, and we are proud to celebrate her success.

Congratulations, Aubreigh, on this well-deserved honor, and best wishes for all that lies ahead!

Lake County Student Named 2025 Franklin B. Walter Award Recipient

We are proud to announce Siddharth Godbole, a remarkable senior from Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools, as the 2025 Lake County recipient of the distinguished Franklin B. Walter Award.

Each year, Ohio’s Educational Service Centers recognize one outstanding senior from each county who demonstrates superior academic achievement, strong leadership, and a commitment to service. Siddharth exemplifies these qualities and is truly deserving of this prestigious honor.

Although Siddharth was unable to attend the Franklin B. Walter Award Luncheon held on April 14, 2025, in Columbus, he will be recognized locally at an upcoming ESCWR Governing Board Meeting on either May 15 or June 3, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. During this special presentation, Siddharth will be honored as one of Ohio’s best and brightest students, meet members of the ESCWR Governing Board, and be presented with an award check for $250.00.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Siddharth on this impressive achievement and wish him continued success in all of his future endeavors!
